Annual Tuition and Fees 2021-22

Please note:  This tuition page is for the current school year 

Thank you for considering Spring River School to support the education of your most precious gift, your child. Welcome back, returning families and to  our new families - we look forward to meeting and getting to know your family and hope this is the beginning of a wonderful new journey for you.

TUITION FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022

Forest School: Once a Week on Thursdays 

Locations to be given out by teachers in advance

Special Subjects Schedule

Special Subjects on M-W will be Painting, Spanish, Modeling/Sculpting for Grades 1-7

Special Subjects on Th/F will be Handwork/Music and Nature Immersion Grades 1-3; Handwork and Nature Immersion Grades 4/5; and Handwork (to include wood working) and Medieval Nature Quest Grades 6/7.

Important Dates for School Year 2021-2022

  • Semester 1 (17 weeks) August 16, 2021 - December 17, 2021

  • Semester 2 (19 weeks) January 10, 2022 - May 27, 2022

  • Early Release once per month at 1 pm on Wednesdays to coincide with Duval County early release schedule (to allow for Staff and Teacher meetings)

  • We will also follow the Duval County Public School Schedule for Teacher Planning Days (1 per quarter)

  • Thanksgiving Break: November 22, 2021 - November 26, 2021

  • Winter Break: December 18, 2021 - January 9, 2022

  • Spring Break: March 14, 2022 - March 18, 2022

Payment Info​

  • The Enrollment Deposit is Non-Refundable and must accompany our financial agreement once accepted into the program. This deposit is applied towards tuition.  

  • Annual Deposits are due March 1st, 2021, or within 7 days of receiving a financial contract.

  • Installment payments for the Annual tuition above reflect the total tuition less the deposit. Payments are due on the first of July, 2021 - April, 2022 in 10 equal installments.

  • Forest School installments for Annual Tuition reflect the total tuition less the deposit.  Payments are due on the first of July,  2021 - April, 2022 in 10 equal installments.

  • Forest School installments for per Semester Tuition reflect the total tuition less the deposit.  Payments will be due for the first semester in 4 installments on the first of the month July, 2021 - October 2021, and the second semester will be 4 installments due December 2021 - March, 2022.

Multi-Student Discount

  • Sibling Discount is 5% in all programs

Tuition Assistance

  • Spring River School's leadership will make every effort to ensure that any student, regardless of a family’s financial ability, has the opportunity to attend our programs.  For the 2021-22 school year, scholarships will be available. Awards are based on financial need. To apply, please read over the information on our Tuition Assistance page on our website and complete an application at the link you will find there.

Other Fees:

  • There is a non-refundable New Student Application Fee of $25 per student that needs to be paid along with the online registration.  

  • Upon acceptance into the program, there is a $75 non-refundable Registration Fee per family.

  • Parents will be expected to sign a financial agreement.

  •  Supply Fees, if applicable, are due in July 2021

 

What Tuition Includes:​

  • Parent Conferences ( including 2  Written Narratives per year) and Weekly Updates from the teachers

  • Main Lesson Books

 

What Tuition does not include:

  • Supply Fees, if applicable, vary by class and teacher and will be announced in the summer when Spring River orders bulk supplies for the school year.

  • Additional fees for any applicable park admission fees

  • Additional fees for Field-trips

  • All-weather gear

  • Snacks/Lunch

 

School Hours:

  • Grades K-7/Monday - Friday:  8:45 am to 2:45 pm

  • Forest School Enrichment (Thursdays) Hours: 8:45 am - 1:00 pm

  • Early Release once per month at 1 pm on Wednesdays to coincide with Duval County early release schedule (to allow for Staff and Teacher meetings)

  • We will also follow the Duval County Public School Schedule for Teacher Planning Days (1 per quarter)

  • We will have set aside Weather Days

Culture of Volunteerism:

Spring River is a service oriented organization with volunteerism at the heart of our community.  We believe children learn social responsibility and thrive when their families are engaged in service. To help our community flourish, we encourage all families to contribute at least 20 volunteer hours each year.

 

We offer many opportunities to volunteer throughout each season.  To learn how to share your gifts with Spring River,  you may contact your child's Class Parent, the Parent Teacher Council or our Program Director.
