Tuition Assistance

We strongly feel that an education inspired by Waldorf principles should be available to any child, regardless of financial circumstances.  Committing to pay for your child’s education is a significant financial investment for a family.  Spring River has committed a portion of each year’s tuition, as well as fundraising efforts, to support the tuition assistance program.  These amounts will be distributed to applicants based on relative demonstrated financial need.  Tuition assistance grants are made for one year and must be renewed annually.

 

  • Tuition Assistance applications are due March 15th. Priority is given to returning students, siblings and those meeting the March 15th deadline.  

  • The Application may be found HERE.

  •  We can only review applications that are complete.

  • The range of needs-based assistance is generally between 5% and 50% of tuition.

  • The entire Tuition Assistance process, including grants and applications, is confidential.

  • The Tuition Assistance Committee will meet following that deadline with awards being made by April 15th.  

  • Funds may not be available to families who do not meet the March 15th deadline.

  • We do not discriminate in the administration of our policies because of race, creed, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.

  • Tuition assistance decisions are made independently of the admissions process.

  • Families applying for enrollment after the start of the school may be considered for tuition assistance if funds remain.

 

How to Apply:

  1. Complete your application for Admission through our website or the link that has been emailed to you.  Applications for tuition assistance can only be considered when an application for admission has been completed.

  2. Complete the Tuition Assistance Application through our website or the link that has been emailed to you. There is no fee to apply. Financial information and documentation are required from the parents and is kept strictly confidential.

  3. Application review and grants will be made by the Tuition Assistance Committee. The amount of tuition assistance granted will be determined by the Tuition Assistance Committee in consideration of the applications received, the entire program budget, and the number of tuition assistance applications received.

  4. Appeals Process. If no assistance is granted or the award is less than required, a written letter of appeal may be written to the Tuition Assistance Committee, which will be reviewed, and a decision made within two weeks of receipt of the appeal letter.
