Admissions Process
(All Programs Grades K-12)
Waldorf-Inspired • Nature-Based • Community-Driven

Thank you for your interest in Spring River School, a K–12 learning community offering a unique blend of Waldorf-inspired, nature-based education for early childhood and the grades, alongside a flexible and supportive high school program for homeschooling families.

Our programs emphasize learning through head, heart, and hands—balancing intellectual development, artistic exploration, and practical skill-building. Whether your child is beginning their educational journey or preparing for the high school years, Spring River fosters a deep connection to self, community, and the natural world.

We look forward to walking this journey with your family.

Step One: Submit an Inquiry
Our Admissions Office is available year-round to provide guidance and support.
To begin, please submit an inquiry form. A member of our team will follow up to learn more about your family and answer your questions.

n the meantime, we invite you to explore our website and learn more about our educational philosophy, curriculum, and dedicated faculty.

Step Two: Tour or Open House
We encourage all prospective families to attend our annual Open House in early winter or schedule a weekday morning tour with a member of our staff.
This is a chance to observe our Waldorf-inspired classrooms in action and experience our outdoor learning environment firsthand. During your visit, you'll see students engaged in meaningful learning through rhythm, artistry, and practical work.
A tour is required as part of the admissions process to ensure families are well-informed about our approach and expectations.

Step Three: Application Submission
Following your tour, complete an application and submit a $45 non-refundable application fee per student through your FACTS Family Portal.
We offer rolling admissions. If space is available and your student is accepted, you will be invited to complete the enrollment process.

Step Four: Student Trial Visit
Once your application is reviewed, your child may be invited to participate in one or more trial days within the program to which they are applying, pending availability.

If the class is full, your child will be placed in our waitpool, and we will contact you when a spot becomes available.

During a trial day, students fully participate in the rhythm of the classroom. Parents do not attend, allowing for a genuine and immersive student experience.

Step Five: Enrollment Notification
If your student is accepted, you will receive an enrollment invitation via email with a link to complete full registration and submit the $160 non-refundable enrollment fee.
