​We invite your child to a Waldorf-inspired Winter Break adventure for grades K-5 on December 18, 19, 22, and 23. Choose one date or all!  Camp is held from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

When the air turns cool and the pine needles shimmer with morning dew, children are invited to slow down, explore, and create in the gentle rhythm of a Florida winter.

​

Each day blends art, story, and nature connection — from watercolor mornings and beeswax modeling to storytelling circles and a nature hike at Howell Park. Campers will craft with local materials, learn about coastal wildlife, and celebrate the beauty of our evergreen landscape.

Camp Highlights

• Daily arts & handwork using natural materials

• Storytelling and songs celebrating Florida’s winter wonders

• Guided nature hike at Howell Park

• Herbal tea, homemade snacks, and cozy indoor spaces

• Waldorf-inspired rhythm nurturing imagination, warmth, and rest​

If enrollment exceeds nine students, campers will be grouped by age.

General Daily Rhythm (9-2)

9:00–9:20 Morning Circle, songs, verse, movement games

9:20-10:15 – Artistic Work

10:15-10:45 – Snack, Tea, and Story

10:45-12:45 – Outdoor Exploration and Picnic Lunch (brought from home)

12:45- 1:45 - Handcrafts

1:45 -2:00 – Closing, clean up, and reflection

Who Can Attend

Camp is open to all students in Grades K–5 who are currently enrolled or eligible for enrollment in Spring River School programs.

• Bagged lunch

• Refillable water bottle

• Sit towel

• Appropriate outdoor clothes for the weather

• Small backpack

All craft supplies and materials are provided.

Our Winter Break Camp will be led by experienced Spring River teachers who bring warmth, creativity, and joy to every moment. We look forward to sharing the magic of the season with your children!
